Tobias Stranover (Austrian, 1684–1756)
Tobias Stranover or Toby Stranovius was a Transylvanian Saxon born painter.
Stranover was born in Hermannstadt but travelled to Germany, the Netherlands, and England, where he stayed. He is registered in Hamburg, Hermannstadt, Amsterdam and London. He became a follower of the bird painter Melchior d'Hondecoeter and presumably also Jakob Bogdány, whose daughter Elisabeth he married.
Stranover died in London.
In 2023, my artwork pieces available for sale now exceed 1,200 individual and unique high quality photographs, patents, and computer designs. The breath of subject coverage covers from animals to transportation, all conveniently organized by Album Collections for easy search. Combining photographs and various computer rendering techniques, has allowed me to produce a very unique style in my final product. several hours are spent with each photo to produce - and obtain - just the right touch of colors and composition.
